ENSEMBLES
MIDDLE SCHOOL

West Georgia Winds' mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and musically challenging environment for young musicians. Students will rehearse and perform diverse, engaging, and inspiring repertoire that motivates them to grow musically and become leaders in their own band program.

WGW's Middle School division is open to all 6th through 8th grade woodwind, brass, and percussion students in the state of Georgia.​
​
Students rehearse on Sunday afternoons from 1:45 to 4:00 pm at Carrollton Middle School's band room and perform 1 to 2 concerts per semester.

HIGH SCHOOL

Geared towards high musical achievement, this ensemble is for players that are confident in their ability and are eager to learn. As the premiere ensemble at West Georgia Winds, the high school division ensemble will perform with soloists and travel to perform at festivals and conferences.​

WGW's high school division is open to all 9th through 12th grade woodwind, brass, and percussion students in the state of Georgia.
​
Students rehearse on Sunday afternoons from 2:15 to 4:45 pm at UWG's Humanities Building, room 106, and perform 1 to 2 concerts per semester.

VOICES

Join our West Georgia Voices, where high school and middle school students come together to share their love for music! No experience is necessary—just bring your passion and enthusiasm! Our choir offers a fun and supportive environment where you can develop your vocal skills, make new friends, and perform exciting pieces from a variety of genres.

This group is open to all 7th-12th grade singers.
7th grade students must submit a teacher recommendation form via email after registering to audition. Please send all teacher recommendation forms to voices@westgaarts.com.​

Students rehearse on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at UWG's Humanities Building, room 306, and perform 1 to 2 concerts per semester.
