West Georgia Winds is hosting its first ever annual summer camp for our Middle School Division!
With music at the center, students will enjoy a 5-day event while learning a set of music pieces with a public concert to be presented. Each day will include rehearsals and activities that include: a Six Flags Over Georgia trip, water park visit, service project, ice cream social, presentations, physical-education activities, and more!
The event will be June 15-19th. Check out our Camp Itinerary (linked at the bottom of this page) for a more generalized schedule for each day, as well as additional resources.

Students must register by June 1, 2026 to attend.
Pricing
At a competitive price of $300, fees are per student and cover costs for the entire camp, not including independent vendors.
Field Trip
All registered participants, high school volunteers, coaches, chaperones, and staff will participate in a trip to Six Flags over Georgia in Austell, Ga. Participants will be bused to and from the event from the camp's campus.
Service Projects
Formed chambered groups will participate in a service project where performances will be given in public locations such as nursing homes, store & restaurant entrances, and more!
Transportation will be provided.
Music Opportunities
With a public concert as the center end-goal for the camp, other fantastic opportunities will be offered, such as: chamber groups, music technology seminars and projects, and conducting basics.
Summer Camp Activities
Section wars, waterparks, bowling allies, tie-dying, physical-education activities, & ice cream socials are sure to bring smiles and laughs each day of our music camp!

Leadership Opportunies
Local college students and WGW High School Division members will have a unique opportunity to refine their leadership and logistical skills by serving as sectional/chamber coaches, monitors, set up/break down teams, chaperones, and administrative assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for resume building!
