Rehearsal Notes for 11/12

Great rehearsal today! Thank you to all students for a wonderful first few weeks of West Georgia Winds.

Middle School:

Make sure you do the following over the next two weeks:

• Read through "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas"; highlight and practice where your instrument has the melody. Circle all notes that are modified by the key change.

• Practice "Alchemy" from J to L, all instruments

• Practice melody sections in "Marche Diabolique"

• Play through "The Nightmare Before Christmas" at least twice. Find a recording on YouTube and watch the recording while following along in your own music, then play along with the recording.

High School:
